Please note that because the internal OS X client does not support encryption, a connection using these instructions will be unencrypted (the same as FTP or connections using SMB or AppleTalk). If you do not trust the connection between you and Bethel's servers, you may want to follow the instructions for Mac Classic which use a third-party client.

| Depending on whether you want to
access your home
folder or your department folder you'll need to type in the
corresponding URL into the Address field of the Connect to Server
window. Capitalization is important. To connect to your home Folder:

| If this is your machine, you may want to make an alias for faster access in the future. To do so, hold Command (also known as Open Apple) and Option keys, and drag the volume to where you would like the alias to appear.
